Friendly governments and international institutions have urged the government of The Principality of Sealand to break its reserve on the Internet and to post an official statement of facts in order to prevent criminal organisations to abuse the name Principality of Sealand/Fürstentum Sealand in the conduct of dubious business undertakings, the sale of Sealand citizenships, passports and diplomatic passports; further to counteract websites on the internet disseminating such fraudulent offers. It is self-evident that such documents can never be for sale.

The use of documents acquired in this way will be internationally prosecuted.

We take this opportunity to present the Principality of Sealand correctly and to inform interested parties of the opportunities for protected civic, alternative political, economic and scientific research, development and publications.
